Indications Secondary amenorrhea(經閉) ,Hepatis cirrhosis due to Clonorchiasis(蠱毒) ,Laceration(金瘡) ,Arsenic poisoning(砒霜毒) ,Hemorrhage without trauma, Nasal bleeding(衄血) ,Earache(耳痛) ,Hyperhidrosis(自汗) ,Hemoptysis, Blood tinged sputum(唾血) ,Pelvic mass(癥瘕) ,Hematemesis(吐血) ,Hematoma(血積)

ToxicityWhen the agent is taken orally, occasional dizziness, nausea and vomiting, difficulty in breathing, burning sensation, palpitations, and fatigue may be reported. In severe cases, shock has been observed. The LD50 of crude extract in mice is 16.75 g/kg, and 316.5 mg/kg(I.p.) for curcumenol.1).Not to be used during pregnancy 2). Therapeutic quantities should not be taken by people with bile duct obstruction or gall stones 3). C. longa should not be administered to patients who suffer from stomach ulcers or hyperacidity 4). Mild; active, but toxicity appears very mild unless used for long time 5,6).
